Some weddings are planned years in advance, with meticulous details and endless checklists. Others, are a whirlwind of excitement, spontaneity, and a whole lot of love. This Vegas elopement was exactly that... and it was extra special because the couple were my friends!! They invited me and my husband along for the ride then casually asked if I would take their pictures. Obviously, I said yeas immediately.


The Text

One day, I got a text that said, "We're eloping in Vegas! Want to come?" Ummm.... YEAH?!? Before I could even process the excitement, flights were booked, outfits were ordered and we were off to the most iconic wedding destination in the world.


The Vegas Experience

Vegas elopements have this undeniable energy-glamourous, rebellious, and ridiculously fun! The night before, we celebrated in true Sin City style. Laughter, pizza, slot machines, piano bars, maybe one too many rounds of drinks... The next day, they got dressed in the dreamiest outfits - a stunning beaded two piece bridal dress and beige suit - and we went to the chapel. Make sure to allow extra time getting from point A to Point B. They exchanged the cutest glances, shared the most joyful laughs, and even rocked matching ring fingers for that iconic "we did the damn thing" photo.
